Are there support groups for people who feel divorce is the only option?

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

Please, I don’t want someone to tell me I’m being selfish, or that I’m being unrealistic, I just would like to know if there’s somewhere that I can vent my frustrations and get honest constructive criticism or support if divorce is the only solution.

You can ask me anything! Im honest open minded and divorced with two kids!

Does anyone know a website that shows yoga positions and meditation techniques?

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

I get frequent migranes, and am stressed out a bit, yoga and meditation is supposed to be a way of stopping them, but i need a website that has relaxing calming positions for beginners
I want a website the does more of pictures than of having to read

http://www.yogajournal.com
click on the poses tab

there are pictures, but it is beneficial to read the instructions to be sure you are doing the pose properly. You can injure yourself if you enter into doing yoga without knowing the proper form and movement. You don’t just try to get into a pose that looks like the picture, you have to move your body appropriately to make sure the bones and muscles are in the right position and you don’t strain or injure yourself.
Also it is very important to focus on your breath. Long, slow deep breathing is best for any yoga positions, and you should never hold your breath.

Please take the time to read a bit and learn what you can, yoga really can help with your migraines, but only if done correctly.

good luck :)

Can a marriage survive infidelity or is it just a matter of time that it takes its toll a break you both down?

Some couples can work through it and address the underlying issues and regain the trust while others can’t. For me infidelity is a deal breaker.

What would you do if your friends husband is coming to you for marriage advice? Do you think it’s weird?

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

My friends husband keeps asking me for marraige advice. And he told me not to tell her. What should I do?

Well make sure you dont sleep with him, because that is most likely his goal in this. He’s attracted to you and wants to plant the seed in your head that he is in a hollow shell of a marriage, which will hopefully justify you jumping in the sack with him.

I’d distance myself from that situation all together and tell him he should be talking to someone else about it.

Why do soo many young people want relationship advice?

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

ok most of the time when i look at peoples questions on here a lot of them seem to be asked by young teenagers 13/14 and they all seem to want serious relationship advice. I mean why is it they want to grow up so fast. When i was 14 no one i knew wanted relationship advice, or even advice on sex. Doesn’t anyone want that general freedom that comes with being young anymore (by freedom im referring to the lack of responsibilities e.g. relationships, money, rent etc)

I feel you. I am in my thirties and I find myself searching hard for mature questions. However, I see the same questions over and over again being asked by babies who want to date. I don’t judge but as one who came out at age 12 and now a mother, I just think that these kids are stressing themselves over other kids unnecessairly when they should be focusing on their education and future.

Surviving Infidelity

Monday, October 26th, 2009

http://www.relationshipanswer.com – Surviving Infidelity is a very serious issue in a lot of relationships. There are some common misconceptions about it. One of them is that it is mostly men who cheat. Not true, it is actually pretty evenly divided. A second misconception is that you cant possibly survive infidelity. That also is not true. Unfortunately most couples just really dont have the skills or the tool set to really understand what to do to repair an infidelity. So in that case its a good idea to find qualified therapist or clergy person to be of assistance because there are some very specific things you must do if you plan on surviving infidelity and rebuilding trust. Trust is the thing that is most damaged in an infidelity. Later on though, if you can work through the issues and really change your relationship for the better many people find that you actually end up with a better, much stronger relationship than you ever had to start with. Because a lot of the early mistakes and expectations that were not quite accurate get corrected and resolved and that is the important thing because remember the outcome you are looking for is to have a happy, safe, healthy, loving marriage.
