I have a question about my personal life, that is honestly one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make in my life.

I recently posted the question on Y!A and only got one smart ass remark. I really need someones advice, all of my friends are bias about this so I need an outside opinion.

In a relationship with someone I care about very much. At times it seems I care more about the relationship and where it is going than he is. He has had previous relationship problems, been cheated on, taken advantage of and feels that all women are the same and they will all do this to him. When we go out I pay for almost everything all the time. I do this to assure him that I want more out of the relationship than just his money and am very capable of taking care of my share of the expenses. Seems like the more I do for him, the less he thinks of me. Puts me down and refers to me as being just like every other woman in the world, worthless. What to I do? Is there anything I can do to make him see that not all woman are the same? That are woman out there that are not this way? Really need advice on this one. I want this relationship to work, but can it ever really with it being so one sided?

I am sorry to say that. but you wouldn’t like what will happen in the future. This kind of men will hold grudes forever. You will be stressed after a while..you might even forget yourself.
Start a relatioship with a man who says" is there any thing you want to keep from the past before i delete it"
i know how you feel..and it is really good…but it will bring you misery in the long run.

Everytime i look at yahoo or any other site for relationship advice all i see is what wrong with the man, or how to change the man, How you can tell he’s cheating.
I think this is why most guys are how they are, I will keep quiet most of the time about my feelings because in almost all the cases in the advise section we are always to blame and are what it wrong with the world. your comment?

Most of the people I know turn to their friends for advice versus their family. I don’t think too many people get relationship advice online, maybe the teenagers do but no one older than 25 would.

well this guy & me called jay have known eachother a year and liked eachother for about 10 months. believe me, its nothing silly. i love him. he says he loves me. hes protective. tells me how gorgerous i am each day.accepts all my flaws, tells me im brilliant. hes the most caring person ive met in my life. hes perfect for me, i know hes something special.
the only thing that is stopping us is the distance..

HI,not all family members ,and also not all friends .No one is that lucky to have decent trustful friends and family members all at the same time.
Relationships are pretty much complicated and only reliable and wise persons can help by giving such advices.Also people who went through similar experiences as yours can also help ,and they are a lot in yahoo answers.
You have to choose carefully whom you’re going to ask for advice.But remember advices are more logic and acceptable when combining with your own opinions and nature. No one knows your needs better than you, so it’s your decision after all.

But they are not the formula you need for the relationship to stand the test of time. And sex? That’s only a temporary high that fades once the clothes are back on.
