Because divorce can potentially create many problems for children, we are starting a “Children of Divorce” group at our Metro West office, located at 1507 S.Hiawassee Rd. Suite 101. Evelyn Wenzel, LCSW, CAP will be leading the group. It is a 10 week program and will begin in March on Wednesdays at 5:00 pm. Sorry your parents are not getting along. You can make it as I made it. Everyone has a choice to choose their attitude. No one can choose that for us! Also, see if your parents will let you get help.

There’s not much you can do, but if your parents can talk to someone soon then they could prevent further hurts.

I hate it when people think that divorced teens/kids are mental and stuff.
My parents had a very screwed up marriage.
My dad’s an abusive alcohalic
And my mom is a control freak, and she’s very unintelligent.
I live with my dad now, and I don’t see myself as any different than any other 15 year old with two happy parents.
